NOKIA C6 REVIEW
Second out of the blocks today comes the all new Nokia C6. With a 3.2-inch HD touchscreen display and a slide out four-row QWERTY keyboard, the new C6 brings the best of messaging together with instant access to your favourite contacts and communications. Not to mention a five-megapixel camera and a very respectable seven hours of talktime (in GSM mode). Read on after the jump to find out what else it has in store.
The Nokia C6 boasts a customisable homescreen which will also play host to your favourite contacts, your latest emails and your friends’ Facebook updates. With Nokia Messaging on board, you have support for up to 10 email accounts from your favourite email hosts including Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail and Ovi Mail.
Nokia C6 will be the third side-slider in the S60 5th edition family and according to the new naming convention, adopted by the Finnish company it shouldn’t be much pricier than the Nokia C5 (135 euro before taxes). The Nokia C6 only has 256 MB of internal memory (compare to 32 GB in Nokia N97 and 8GB in N97 mini) and seems to drop the steel frame in favor of an all-plastic body. The tilting LCD is also removed in the Nokia C6, probably to make space for the extra row on the keyboard. Fortunately, the 3G connectivity and the microSD card slot have been retained.
